Join our client, a leading name in the superyacht industry as a Lead Naval Architect in Amsterdam area. You'll be part of a renowned team responsible for designing and engineering world-class custom-built superyachts.

Tasks

  • Leading engineering teams during new-build projects from concept to delivery.
  • Performing and coordinating naval architectural calculations, drawings, and analyses.
  • Ensuring compliance with specifications and maintaining design integrity.
  • Managing various stakeholders, including clients, shipyards, and classification societies.
  • Overseeing the integration of new technologies into designs.
  • Supervising Marine Engineers and coordinating with internal departments.

Job requirements

  • BSc./ MSc. in Naval Architecture or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Naval Architecture, specifically in new-build projects.
  • Experience leading teams in a project-driven organization.
  • Broad technical knowledge within naval architecture and related engineering disciplines.
  • Proficiency in hydromechanics, ship safety, and regulations.
  • Excellent command of English.
