Our client is seeking a Sub Project Leader - Coordination in Bremen, Germany, to manage and coordinate the spatial integration of ship systems. This position requires strong technical and coordination skills to ensure successful project delivery within the shipbuilding sector.

Tasks

  • Leading a team focused on the coordination of shipbuilding systems.
  • Overseeing the spatial integration of equipment, piping systems, ventilation, and cable trays using 3D CAD software.
  • Facilitating technical alignment with classification societies, flag states, clients, and suppliers.
  • Managing and guiding our design partners in the coordination tasks.
  • Collaborating closely with construction and production departments.
  • Monitoring and controlling timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for the coordination efforts.

Job requirements

  • Completed technical training as a pipe fitter, technician, or engineering degree in mechanical engineering, supply technology, or marine engineering.
  • Experience in the spatial coordination of complex ships.
  • Project management experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient in design software, preferably Shipconstructor.
  • Strong MS Office skills and excellent command of English and German.
  • Confident, self-driven, and assertive.
  • Must be a permanent EU citizen or German Blue Card holder.
