Tasks

As Team Lead Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), you will oversee the full scope of ILS project execution for advanced shipbuilding programs. Your responsibilities include:

  • Lead ILS projects from concept to delivery, ensuring high-quality output on time and within budget.
  • Conduct detailed ILS analyses, including Logistic Support Analysis (LSA), RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability), and LCC (Life Cycle Cost) assessments.
  • Develop and manage ILS products: maintenance plans, supply support (S2000M), technical documentation (S1000D), training, and technology transfer.
  • Collaborate closely with technical design, engineering, and procurement departments.
  • Supervise configuration and data management activities.
  • Ensure all ILS work aligns with client requirements and international defense standards.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing ILS proposals, including budget estimations and resource planning.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of ILS products, processes, and internal methodologies.
  • Prepare and deliver ILS-related training materials for engineering and operational teams.
  • Interpret and apply technical regulations, standards, and project documentation.

Job requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
    (Localized equivalents: HBO or WO-level)

  • Significant experience in ILS development and execution, preferably in a defense or technical environment.

  • Deep understanding of ILS concepts, including LSA, RAM, LCC, configuration management, and relevant defense standards.

  • Skilled in managing cross-functional and multicultural project teams.

  • Experience with asset management is a plus.

  • Familiarity with defense logistics and naval systems is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch; German or Spanish is a plus.

  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.

  • Must be a permanent EU citizen (EU work visa holders or dual passport holders including non-EU nationalities are not eligible due to defense security regulations).

  • Able to pass a security background screening as part of the hiring process.
