We are looking for mid/senior HVAC Engineers with experience in the maritime industry to be involved in the concept, engineering and construction phases of the project. We have several exciting opportunities in Bremen and Hamburg area and throughout north Germany as well as in The Netherlands.

Tasks

  • Planning, design and layout of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for ships to ensure optimum climatic conditions on board;
  • Supervision and coordination of HVAC projects, including time and resource planning, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards;
  • Carrying out thermal analyses and simulations to optimize the HVAC systems and ensure efficiency and reliability;
  • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, reports and drawings as well as presentation of results to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Work closely with other departments, suppliers and customers to develop and implement innovative and customized technical solutions.

Job requirements

  • Degree in building services engineering, energy technology or a comparable qualification and at least 3 years of professional experience in the HVAC sector, preferably in shipbuilding;
  • Sound knowledge in the planning and implementation of HVAC systems as well as experience with common CAD tools and thermal simulation programs;
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience in performing thermal analyses and simulations;
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, a high level of initiative and a structured and independent way of working;
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, a high level of initiative and a structured and independent way of working;
  • Excellent English communication skills; spoken German / Dutch is a big plus.
