As a Cost Estimator Asset Management, you will be responsible for developing multi-year cost budgets for maintenance contract tenders, focusing on long-term, sustainable solutions for infrastructure assets like waterways, ports, dikes, and pumping stations. You will work within a vibrant, growing asset management team, contributing to impactful projects that ensure environmental sustainability.

 

    Tasks

    In this role, you will set up multi-year budgets and develop a budget system using the Standard Cost Estimation System (SSK). Collaborating closely with team members, you ensure optimal asset value and project reliability.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop multi-year cost estimates for tenders and additional ongoing project work.
    • Gather and analyze data from Maintenance Engineers, the purchasing department, suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams.
    • Translate collected information into comprehensive budgets, including timelines and detailed work descriptions.

     

      Job requirements

      Working on tenders for vital wet infrastructure projects, you help ensure the maintenance and functionality of critical structures. Your expertise contributes to the reliability and environmental quality of these projects.

      Requirements:

      • Higher Professional Education (equivalent to HBO-Bachelor level) in a technical field such as Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
      • Experience as a Cost Estimator, preferably including exposure to maintenance projects or tenders.
      • Analytical and numerical proficiency, with a methodical approach to project planning.
      • Eagerness to specialize in cost estimates for long-term maintenance, with an open mind for learning asset management.
      • Only EU candidates can be considered for the role.
