Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to support their team in Wismar on a temporary basis. In this role, you will assist in project execution within the manufacturing sector, covering tasks from project coordination to ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Tasks

As a Construction Supervisor, you will work closely with project management to ensure efficient execution of assigned projects. Your tasks include:

  • Assisting project management in coordinating construction within designated areas or systems.
  • Participating in risk and claim management processes.
  • Overseeing and confirming third-party performance.
  • Supporting related departments (design, planning, and materials management) by contributing your expertise.
  • Initiating and planning corrective actions in coordination with area managers.
  • Coordinating collaboration across production stages, materials management, production preparation, design, classification societies, construction oversight, and external contractors.

Job requirements

  • Completed specialized training of at least three years and relevant work experience, or completed training in another field with extensive specialized experience and further training.
  • Experience in operational processes within shipbuilding.
  • Leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Computer skills, particularly in MS Office and, if applicable, PPS systems.
  • Knowledge in occupational safety, fire, and environmental protection.
  • EU citizenship or possession of a German Blue Card.
