As Test and Integration Engineer you will be responsible for a part f the Test and Integration program. You will develop, execute or support the inspection plans production, testing and trials of new build naval vessels. In addition, you follow up in case of deviations and coordinate with suppliers as needed.
In your role of Test and Integration Engineer, you will:
- Set the T&I program according to design, progress, targets and timelines.
- Prepare and (at times) execute the project inspection plan production, and follow up in case of deviations.
- Develop, execute and coordinate test & trials plan according to the master project plan, specification, and deadlines.
- Take part in cross functional engineering reviews and approvals together with the team, and relevant suppliers.
- Monitor/report progresses and include when necessary (this include performance of third parties)
- Prepare status report for production, trials and tests.
- Align with other engineering departments and develop T&I plans.
In your role of Test & Integration Engineer, you have:
- Relevant degree combined with IPMA D or similar certification.
- Previous experience in Project Management, manufacturing and commissioning of naval ships.
- Previous experience in subcontract management and integration of complex systems (mechanical, electrical, automation), ideally propulsion installations for complex new build ships.
- Knowledge of engineering concepts and practices
- Excellent English skills. German or Dutch are highly appreciated.
- Proficient with computer applications such as Office, SAP, DOORS, 3DX.
- EU citizenship due to the military nature of our client's projects (NON-EU profiles will not be taken into consideration).
