ROLE PROFILE
As Supply Chain Improvement Manager, you are responsible for effectively and accurately maintaining systems and tools and producing on-time deliverables for your expertise area and assigned remit.
You will apply and ensure compliance with Company standards, to enable the Company to make strategic and tactical business decisions.
You apply and uphold SBM’s policies and procedures in support of the respective population with a high degree of customer focus, discretion and confidentiality.
ROLE CONTRIBUTION
In order to support business decision making, for your assigned expertise area, you are accountable for 3 main pillars in the SC Excellence department:
- Overall accountability for implementing the Vendor Performance Assessment process in line with company requirements
- Overall accountability for implementing the Vendor Qualification/Extension/Exemption Process across all areas of our business including but not limited to Projects related, Operations, non-project related services etc. As matrix manager for VQ Coordinators in all other regional centers – obtain/analyze/verify/cleanse data for reporting as required
- Lessons learned champion for Supply Chain – receive inputs from the SC community and analyse and propose corrections/corrective actions
- Seek alignment with relevant stakeholders on the functional requirements
- Collect, prepare and provide data input for all relevant deliverables, within agreed time frame
- Ensure the integrity and reporting of the data and information you are responsible for
- Compile and analyze data and information, to alert on trends and recurring themes
- Proactively highlight concerns as they arise, escalate unresolved issues to appropriate stakeholders to minimize delays in deliverables and (re)prioritize assigned activities when necessary
- Monitor reported incidents and track corrective actions
- Continuously seek to improve and enhance effectiveness of the role towards building a resilient SC Excellence function
In order to effectively and accurately maintain management systems and tools wherever they are applied, for your assigned expertise area, you are to:
- Ensure data entry and administration with accuracy, high level of confidentiality and in compliance with Company standards, within agreed time frame
- Provide first line support to all users, guidance and advice on their use
- Identify and assess topics, trends and users’ needs, to provide recommendations for improvement and implementation
- Maintain the overview of and content of all data definitions, data standards and other relevant documentation for the relevant applications (e.g. training materials, user guides) in order to inform the business correctly
- Contribute to create, review and update procedures and work instructions
