Senior Engineer (E&A)

The Senior Engineer will be involved from the proposal phase and perform proposals and calculations. During the execution phase, together with a team of engineers, the Senior Engineer will deliver and implement engineering documents and will turn technical and practical knowledge into innovative designs. 
Depending on the project, the Senior Engineer reports to the Team Leader or the Project Manager.

In addition, you will:

• Develop specification documents, functional descriptions, schematic drawings and test plans
• Perform technical calculation to support the design and perform design checks to ensure quality
• Check technical performance of vendors/subcontractors and perform cost analysis on offers (in concert with the Purchase Department)
• Ensure timely contribution of vendors and subcontractors
• Support during proposal activities and commissioning activities when necessary
• Ensure compliance to requirements and specifications as imposed by Class, Rules & Regulations and customer

As Senior Engineer, you will need:

• MSc or BSc in Electrical Engineering, Technical Automation or similar technical education combined with at least 2 years of experience in a complex environment 
• Previous experience within the design and installation of E&A systems, preferably gained in shipbuilding, industrial automation or offshore
• Experience with the design of HV power distribution systems, and in the functional development of Control and Monitoring Systems
• Knowledge of Class and Rules & Regulations
• Experience managing third party vendors and subcontractors
• Fluency in English
• EU citizenship and excellent antecedents (this is a must)
