Quality Engineer

To Sum up you will responsible for:

• Recording (and archiving) in accordance with procedure digitally the measured quality of all interim and final control documents;
• Recording new control methods, moments and documents in the ITP;
• Keeping protocols, quality manuals, work instructions and guidelines up to date;
• Discussing the results and progress of the quality controls with the (assistant) manager of the department and project;
• Documenting and reporting your findings to production, inspection services, competent authorities and customers.

• Only EU candidates will be discussed
• You have a relevant experience in the maritime industry (yacht building is a nice to have)
• You are in possession of extensive knowledge of the (hull phase) of building a ship;
• You have a deep knowledge of the quality standard of mechanical systems (can be discussed experience with other systems/equipment)
• You have knowledge of the entire construction process, the regulations and the quality requirements of a seaworthy luxury yacht;
• You master the skill of reading drawings/instruction sheets
• Your English is excellent in both speaking and writing (Dutch is a plus);
• You have knowledge of profession-related or department-specific measuring equipment and experience of working within a production environment;
• You have experience in liaising with Class Societies and subcontractor parties
