Lead Electrical Engineer

In your role of Lead Electrical Engineer, you will lead the electrical project team and you will have a 360 degree involvement within the project, from the design stage to the delivery and monitoring one.

As Lead Electrical Engineer, you:

• Are responsible for the design, technical request specifications, and assessment of suppliers.
• Provide project and engineering support, standardization, service and refit support.
• Contribute to select suppliers, provide calculations, and work in line with Class and Regulations.
• Work side by side with Managers from various department, and constantly coordinate with all parties involved.
• Easily convert customer and architects' wishes and requirements into feasible solutions, always keeping an eye on costs.
• Draft project and progress reports.

In your role of Lead Electrical Engineer, you need:

• Relevant degree within Electrical Engineering or relevant course / certification.
• Previous experience within the yacht building industry, ideally in a complex environment
• Excellent knowledge of system integration.
• Previous experience in a project - based environment.
• Good communication skills, flexible attitude and good experience in anticipating and meeting the customer's wishes.
• Excellent English skills, Dutch would be beneficial.
• Willing to travel to other client's locations.
