Project Engineer - Shore Connections System

Apart from providing general electrical engineering knowledge and support to the projects, your main responsibilities specifically include:

• Understanding of how to integrate the switchboards (high voltage) into a complete propulsion system
• Installation practice (design and layout) of high / low voltage cable systems on board of seagoing vessels
• High and low voltage switchboards including base understanding of protection devices
• System engineering with responsibility to ensure the quality and functionality of the complete system
• Supporting and participating in delivery projects
• Providing support in specifying components needed for shore connection projects
• Supporting the Sales team in offering shore connection projects
• Providing interfaces within engineering and project management stakeholders internally and in other business units
• Working on SAP system
• Training of our commissioning team / support during commissioning

Project Engineer, what we are looking from you:

• A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree Electrical Engineering or at least proven established background in systems engineering
• Clear understanding and proven background within electrical power distribution systems
• Knowledge in installation practices of electric power systems on seagoing vessels
• Capability to create technical documentation and standards
• Knowledge in relevant class rules
• Willingness to work in teams
• Knowledge in using SAP an advantage
• Fluent in English, German at least B2 level is mandatory (native a big plus)
• Willingness to travel
