P&ID Specialist

As a Piping Specialist, you will be involved in the modeling of piping systems of the whole vessel. Your focus will be on detailed engineering of routes of pipes systems based on the basic engineering information. Also:

• Prepare 2D piping drawings uding AutoCAD;
• 3D model of piping systems using Cadmatic or Siemens NX;
• Use all necessary information packages related to drawings, spools, and isometrics;
• Adhere to all applicable requirements, standards and piping specifications imposed by the shipyard and class societies;
• Check drawings and calculations and taking the initiative for troubleshooting and advice in case of complex issues.

• At least 5 years of experience in P&ID drawings;
• Mechanical Engineering degree or relevant field;
• Excellent knowledge of setting up P&IDs/2D piping diagrams from concept to basic design
• Detail engineering of marine systems & piping for complex ships and/or custom built yachts (45+ meters)
• Proficiency with using Cadmatic and AutoCAD (Siemens NX is a nice to have)
• Excellent command in English language (Dutch is a nice to have)
