System Information Engineer - Offshore Energy

Externally, for our client's customers projects, your role will involve:

• Assessing client information management needs
• Managing tags and metadata efficiently
• Introducing and utilizing digital tools, both existing and new
• Preparing data for seamless delivery
• Administering and configuring in-house tools
• Assisting engineers with their information management tasks

Internally, your responsibilities will also encompass enhancing the company's in-house systems and processes based on your expertise and interests:

• Synchronizing engineering and business processes with digital tools
• Creating and refining in-house data standards
• Leading the development of innovative in-house engineering databases and web applications
• Overseeing the selection and implementation of new tools and software
• Ensuring adherence to industry standards like IEC and ISO for information and security

As an  System Information Engineer/ Manager, you'll bridge engineering and software seamlessly. Strong communication skills and at least 3 years of experience in information management is essential.

Our client highly value expertise in EPCI projects, offshore wind, and BIM. Proficiency in Python, ontologies, and industry standards like CFIHOS, IEC CIM, and ISO 15926 will distinguish you. Experience with tools like Tekla and Aveva E3D, along with a solid grasp of data architecture, enterprise architecture, reference designation systems (RDS), and APIs, will further boost your success.
