Global Logistics and Transportations Manager - German Speaker

As the Manager of Global Logistics and Transportations, your role includes:

• Taking ownership of the export and import control process, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Establishing strong relationships with external service providers to enhance outsourced services management.
• Monitoring and updating all customs licenses and certificates.
• Collaborating with various teams to define proposal requirements, ensuring services align with budget and timeframe.
• Developing and implementing Transport and Customs Brokerage processes and policies.
• Negotiating, monitoring, and proposing changes to improve SLA performance.
• Ensuring internal departments align with company goals for ESP services. Managing change processes affected by new external services.
• Providing leadership to the transportation, logistics, and warehousing team.
• Communicating with authorities such as BAFA and Customs.

In this role, success is expected through:

• 10+ years of experience in logistics (EU) nd  warehousing ideally from a multinational organization. Maritime experience is a big plus!
• Proactive and development-oriented mindset.
• Teamworking and leadership skills.
• Proficient SAP knowledge in relevant areas.
• Sound understanding of export control, intrastat, commodity codes, and origin rules.
• Fluent in English and Native/ Fluent in German (c1/c2 level)
• Advantageous to have knowledge in Supply Chain or Sales.
• Recognizes the significance of fulfilling customer commitments.

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
