Data Engineer - Digital Business Systems

Join our client’s dynamic Digital Business Systems unit as a Data Engineer near Rotterdam, where you’ll play a key role in driving maritime industry innovation. You’ll develop data pipelines and collaborate with the Data Science and Digital teams to collect sensor data and transform it into actionable insights.

This role is with a renowned international shipbuilder, a major player with significant projects on the horizon. You’ll be part of a young, dynamic team leading the 4th digital transformation in shipbuilding, setting new industry standards and contributing to cutting-edge innovations.

Aufgaben

  • Develop data pipelines for advanced data analytics solutions;
  • Create data pipelines to deliver services to customers;
  • Maintain existing data pipelines;
  • Co-author the IT infrastructure for cloud-based solutions;
  • Design data schemas;
  • Advance cloud development, API management, Azure Storage;
  • Collaborate and share knowledge with the Digital team and the broader organization 

Anforderungen

  • Experience in an agile software development environment;
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL Databases (PostgreSQL), and Azure Functions;
  • Familiarity with ETL processes, Data Processing Frameworks, and Data Visualization tools such as Microsoft Azure and Grafana;
  • Experience with CI/CD and GitHub Actions;
  • Nice to have: Experience with cloud development, API management, Azure Storage, and Azure IoT.
  • NOTE: We can't accommodate a work Visum on this position. Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.
