Cost Controller

As Cost Controller you will:

• Provide support to the project teams on cost control related matters
• Prepare predictions on costs and revenues (monthly) and discuss the results with the PM
• Analyse deviations from budget and explain the reasons behind them
• Perform a monthly cash flow overview of actual and forecast costs and revenues
• Prepare Variation Order Request and budget revisions in concert with the PM
• Initiate invoices to clients and make sure they are made on time and correctly
• Check the accuracy of commitments taken and invoices together with the department and the PM
• Contribute to the optimization of the processes and the procedures in all administrative and cost control related matters
• Prepare the financial close-out of projects
• Train and support junior colleagues

As Cost Controller you need:

• MSc or BSc in Accountancy, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineer (or similar education)
• Previous experience in cost control, ideally in a complex project-based environment within the offshore industry
• Previous experience with ERP software (Oracle)
• Good knowledge of accounting
