Contracts Engineer - Offshore Oil & Gas

Your specific tasks include:

• Efficiently handling and administering all subcontracting activities related to different projects, ensuring alignment with the Company Management System (CMS) for timely, high-quality, and budget-conscious outcomes.
• Contributing to the formulation of subcontracting strategies.
• Crafting subcontracting strategies that align with the objectives of each projects.
• Taking the lead as the Contracts Engineer on larger projects.
• Managing the entire process, from issuing invitations to tender to evaluating proposals, finalizing contract awards, and overseeing contract administration through to closure.
• Assessing and negotiating commercial and contractual aspects, alongside coordinating the technical evaluation of received tenders.
• Leading various meetings, such as tender clarification meetings, tender board meetings, kick-off meetings, and commercial meetings.

We are looking for well-experienced Contracts Engineer who possesses solid work ethics, maintains a professional level of attention to detail, and demonstrates clear commercial awareness. Additionally, you must have/be:

•  A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree holder in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Legal, Commerce, Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a contracting environment within the construction, engineering, oil & gas industries, preferably acquired internationally.
• Advantageous experience in managing a team of contractors.
• Knowledgeable in major re-measurable and lump sum EPC(IC) contracts.
• Proactive approach to the role with a demonstrated ability to add value consistently.
• Excellent proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Willingness to undertake short-term overseas business trips and potentially longer-term assignments.
