Electrical Engineer (Concept and R&D)

Functie omschrijving

In your role of Electrical Engineer (Concept and R&D) you select methods and procedures, and are responsible for the performance of the work, and the optimization of the design. In addition, you ensure that the design and installation of equipment is inline with international codes, standards and regulations, and Company specification. When acting as Package Engineer, you are responsible for the design, procurement and manufacture of the Package, and work with Engineers and Designers within and outside the discipline. You might act as Discipline Lead on assigned projects.

In addition, you:

• Ensure that the assigned activities are completed successfully 
• Ensure effective interface management
• Ensure the management of changes
• Ensure the quality of engineering deliverables
• Ensure the Project is properly planned (when acting as Lead Engineer)
• Ensure your team is informed, inspired and supported (when acting as Lead Engineer)

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Phd or MSc in a Electrical Engineering or similar technical discipline
• Previous relevant experience, ideally gained within the oil & gas industry, and in highly technical and complex projects
• Excellent knowledge of English, both written and verbal
• EU citizenship (highly preferred)
