Marine Systems & Piping

As a Project Engineer in Mechanical Engineering, you will be part of a dedicated project team focused on developing piping systems for yacht construction. These systems are installed in the yachts where each project offers unique complexity and incorporates innovative solutions.

In this role, you will closely collaborate with engineers from other disciplines, including structural, interior, and exterior engineering. You'll maintain regular contact with colleagues across various shipyards, providing you with the exciting opportunity to see the projects you work on brought to life.

Aufgaben

  • ctively coordinating with the project team on technical issues, project details, and planning matters.
  • Overseeing and reviewing the engineering activities, reporting progress to the Project Manager.
  • Participating hands-on as an engineer within projects as needed.
  • Drafting piping layouts for areas like engine rooms, ventilation systems, and sanitary facilities using the 3D drawing software Cadmatic, our preferred tool. You'll work with cutting-edge 3D engineering tools, 3D databases, and intelligent software to bring projects to precision.
  • Identifying technical challenges and proposing effective (and often interdisciplinary) solutions.

Anforderungen

  • Completed degree in the field of marine/-mechanical engineering;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the basic or detail engineering within the ship- or yacht building industry;
  • Demonstrated ability to design and integrate complex mechanical systems;
  • Good knowledge of Cadmatic or Siemans NX is desirable; 
  • Good proficiency in English and a strong willingness to learn the Dutch language;
