Autonomy Engineer

As Autonomy Engineer you play a key role in increasing the autonomy of systems and their integration with autonomous vehicles. You are the point of contact for all projects focusing on autonomous operations. 
As Autonomy Engineer you work together with the Autonomous R&D team and you cooperate with national and international organizations and research institutes. 

Additionally, you:

• Set up development projects and experiments, in order to develop technology that will be applied in future products.
• Are responsible for the execution of an experimental projects and the engineering activities necessary to materialize projects considering project scope, budget and timelines.
• Provide technical expertise in autonomy related projects.

As Autonomy Engineer, you have: 

• University degree in a relevant discipline and a strong interest for the industry.
• Passion for machine learning, control systems and computer vision.
• Hands-on mentality when running experiments.
• Excellent customer skills, combined with a flexible behavior and excellent organizing and management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of English (Dutch is considered a strong plus).
• Permanent EU citizenship and work Visa.
