Lead Structural Designer - Offshore Energy

In the role of Lead Structural DESIGNER, you will:

• Create designs, calculations, and models for  a range of projects such as offshore platforms (jacket and topside design); mostly greenfield projects
• Lead the team of structural designers in detailed engineering projects and validate detailed drawings.
• Lead a structural design team on projects  and work closely with engineers as well as other project  interfaces (Mechanical, E&I, HVA/C and piping teams )
• Prepare structural deliverables such as typicals for welding, penetrations, ladders, stairs, drainbox, hatch, joints, plating, grating; plans and trusses for main steel, MTO, weight control;  3D modeling in Tekla ; as well as clash checking with other disciplines

• Relevant Technical  Bachelor's or Master's Degree from a  reputable university
• Has worked in an engineering company for at least 5 years, offshore preferably, with at least  4 years experience leading a team of structural designers in a detailed engineering project 
• Experience in greenfield structural basic and detailed design in multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Software and Technical skills:  working knowledge in Tekla, Navisworks; good knowledge of the relevant international codes and standards 
• Communicative: good  English communication skills
• A true problem-solver and out-of-the-box thinker; flexible and a good team player
