Mechanical Systems Engineer

Aufgaben
- Development of the marine systems design for both new build & refit vessels.
- Monitor the detailed design engineering of projects.
- Define the scope of construction, and the required supplies and services. Advising on equipment for modifications.
- Manage 3rd parties’ (Subcontractors, suppliers, class & flag etc.), ensuring quality, compliance and delivery of all related equipment to the mechanical department.
- Coordinate with the different disciplines and making sure everything is line with the agreed plan. Creating specifications for the mechanical equipment.
- Support the calculation department and work closely with the procurement team in the development of proposals.
Anforderungen
- Completed degree in the field of marine/-mechanical engineering.
- 5 years of experience in the basic or detail engineering within the ship- or yacht building industry .
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD – knowledge of Cadmatic is desirable.
- Understanding of the German language or a strong willingness to learn.
