Commissioning Engineer Yachtbuilding

As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the realization of large-scale, custom-built yachts. Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, you will manage the planning and execution of commissioning activities to ensure the safe and efficient operation of yacht systems and installations.

Tasks:

• Plan and execute commissioning activities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Gather information about technical specifications, systems, and installations on board.
• Inspect and verify that systems and installations are safe to test and commission.
• Start up and prepare systems for use and conduct sea trials.
• Document data related to commissioning and sea trials.
• Collaborate closely with the Owner’s Representative team and third parties, including regulatory authorities and suppliers.
• Ensure commissioning work aligns with project goals through effective planning and teamwork.

• Higher Vocational Education (HBO-Bachelor) in Marine Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in the maritime or yacht-building industry.
• Strong problem-solving and results-oriented mindset.
• Proactive, communicative, and eager to learn.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
• Must be a permanent EU citizen.
